Replicate a Competition

Replicating previously completed competitions is a quick and easy method in setting up new competitions. By replicating your competition, you can retain and importantly change any of your setup from the previous season. Resultingly, invitees who had participated in the previous season will have their fees, discounts and registration form prepopulated, also with the ability to make any necessary changes as required.

Select the Fixtures Module

Select "+ Replicate Competition".

- Select the year and competition name of the competition that you wish to replicate.

- Select the year and enter the name of the new competition.

- Based on the membership options that were selected in the original competition, choose which of those you would like to retain for the new competition.

- Enter the new competition dates and registration close date. Remember that this registration close date will affect the registration form of your invitees.

- Choose the elements of the original competition you would like to replicate by clicking on the orange tick boxes.

- Once you are happy with the options selected, select Review to refine your new competition further via the Registration module.

IMPORTANT NOTE

If the Teams checkbox is selected, club teams will be replicated as well as the independent teams entered directly to the competition. This is obviously a time saver for clubs, in that they will not need to recreate their teams, and they have the option to remove teams as required. However this will also recreate independent teams . You may chose to remove all the independent teams so that if/when these independent teams register to the competition 

there will not be duplicates. 

Please note: If you are replicating a competition for the following year (e.g. it is 2025 and you are setting up your 2026 competition), you will need to wait until NV memberships for the new year have opened. Please be aware that Player Memberships typically open prior to NetSetGO Memberships.
